The Port Dalhousie Piers are an important part of our community’s heritage. Since my election in Oct 2015, I have been working hard in Ottawa and at home, along with the Mayor and council to find a solution to get the piers open again. An important part of that process is the ongoing community engagement sessions, which will give each and every resident the opportunity to have their say on the future of the Port Dalhousie piers. There are many options on the table, and I think we can all agree that we want some level of accessible piers for future generations to enjoy.
Please take a moment to review the City of St. Catharines Port Piers consultation website and in particular the upcoming dates for public consultations. We want to hear from you!
Should any resident have a question or concern in regards to the piers, they can contact the City of St. Catharines or my office directly.
All the best as we continue the summer season!
